Simple Voice Chat Install Guide

If you are using a custom MC client like Lunar, chances are, you will not be able to install this mod, with the exception of Feather.

Vanilla Launcher #

Step 1: Install fabric #

  1. Go to this page and press “download installer”, or, alternatively, follow the links in the “other installation options” section for your launcher of choice.

  2. Open the downloaded file.

  3. In the opened window, make sure you select the correct game version (if you are playing on my server, it should be the version listed in discord):

  4. Also make a note of the install location.

  5. Press Install.

Step 2: Install the mod #

  1. Download the mod from here

  2. Open your Minecraft launcher

  3. Select a version named something like fabric-loader-x.xx.x in your launcher

  4. Press Play and, after you see the menu screen, close Minecraft

  5. Go to the install location you took note of earlier. If you didn’t change it, it would be on these locations:

    1. Windows: paste the path below onto your path bar in your file explorer: %AppData%\.minecraft
    2. Mac: focus on Finder (e.g. opening a finder window) and then go to Go > Go To Folder on your menu bar and paste in the following path: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
    3. Linux: go to ~/.minecraft (if you are using linux then I expect you to know how to do that)
  6. In this folder you should see a folder called mods

  7. Move the downloaded mod file into this mods folder and close your file explorer

  8. Now if you press play in the launcher again, you should have the mod installed.

Prism Launcher #

Step 1: Instance #

Existing Instance #

  1. Right click on your instance, and select Edit

  2. On the left panel, select Version
  3. On the right panel, press Install Loader

  4. Install the recommended version of fabric

New Instance #

  1. Create a new instance
  2. In the instance creation dialogue, select Custom, then select Fabric for the mod loader.
